Weathervane Prep is a big proponent of having its students read aloud when studying for or taking the ACT and SAT tests, and now a study has shown a version of that strategy is helpful in boosting memory. I know, I know - how can you read aloud if you're actually taking the ACT or SAT test? By mouthing the words as if you are actually reading aloud and pretending that you are conversing with another individual. For those students who receive accommodations where they are allowed to take the test in a separate environment - DEFINITELY read aloud to yourself.

Read aloud whenever you can and wherever you are!
